    Can someone please explain why God waited 1.5 millenia to bring the gospel to the new world? Are all those people in hell? Or can they be like retroactively saved like how the Mormons do. Help!!!! 😮

    • @hawksliravenwood460
      @hawksliravenwood460 21 день тому

      I will say that I do not speak for God, nor can I fully tell you Why He waited so long before he came to give us the Gospels.. What I do know is that God had a timing that Had to happen so All of us could learn about him, so that not only the Jewish people would be saved but Gentiles as well (in Exodus it talks about how God was going to use Pharoahs hard heart to show the Egyptians who The True God was.) I remember reading that Jesus had to come during the time of the Roman empire, because it was the only time in history that a roadway was created to connect many people groups together (which ment the better spreading of the Gospels!) (It's also a interesting note, but Rome is also known as the Eternal city. Which you Could say is a Coincidence, but I can't help but see God's humor in it lol.) And on the subject of hell. That is always a hard subject to talk about, but I will say I do believe God had ways to bring people to Heaven. It was just harder, because of all the rules in the old testament (but that was really on us because we always have to add onto the rules God gave us, not what God Himself did.) But I always see it as God's way of saying We can never redeem ourselves through trying to be "good" people, Jesus finally had to come to re-simplfy all that God tried to show us in the beginning. (It's also interesting to note that there are people in the old testament that State that the Spirit of God was on them! Elijah, David and many others.) But I think I've rambled enough for right now lol. I don't know if any of this helps you, but if anything did I'll be glad! It's always good to ask questions if you're confused on something, but you of course should do some research as well. I recommend praying and reading the Bible, let God show you what you're questioning (He doesn't want you to be ignorant Friend!) I'll be praying for you that you find the answers God wants you to know, hope you have a lovely day!

    6:43 Matthew 5:31-32, “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’[a] 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. Don't date or even marry a divorced woman for you cannot separate what God has joined together. It is sinful. You are committing adultery . 10:38 1 Corinthians 3:4-9," When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of the world? After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building." Dating someone that is a different denomination doesn't matter. What matters is that they value God with all of their heart and are Christian. God has to be their first priority.

    I respectfully disagree with the views expressed in this video. It seems to present an overly simplistic and biased perspective that fails to consider the many valid reasons why some people prefer to live a more low-key, introverted lifestyle. For many, being content with a quieter life is a personal choice that brings them fulfillment. At the same time, I acknowledge that others feel called to be more outspoken and public about their faith. Yet, for those who wish to boldly proclaim their beliefs, the Bible cautions against doing so in a boastful or attention-seeking way. As Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:1, 'Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.' Ultimately, there are many different ways to live out one's faith and values. We should be careful about judging others' choices and focus on living with sincerity and humility in a way that aligns with our own convictions.

    • @becky3846
      @becky3846 Місяць тому

      Yes, God gives everyone a unique personality to serve different purposes for His Kingdom, but we all have the same general calling, to go out among them a preach the Gospel! We are to be bold and call on the strength and power that God gives us, not on our own strength. I know MANY introverts who God uses greatly to further His kingdom, being an introvert does not give a free pass to never step out of your comfort zone and share Jesus with your neighbor. Don’t put yourself in a box, God can use introverts to do great things too :) also it’s not about personal fulfillment, it’s about dying to self and living for Jesus!

      Matthew 6:1, 'Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others TO BE SEEN BY THEM." aka making it about yourself vs. making it about Jesus. The Great Comission is the calling for all Christians to make desciples without fear. If we TRULY believed in hell we wouldn't play it safe. Look att all the desciples, they preached eveywwhere they went. If people didn't recieve it they were told to shake their dust off their feet and move one to others that would. When they got arrested, threatened, and attempts were made to kill them... they keeped preaching. People's souls are on the line! "Introversion" and "our fufillment" have nothing to do with what God has called us for. Matthew 16:24-25 (NIV) "Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." Following the call for Jesus is one demands denying our flesh and submitting everything (comfort, popularity, even our life) to Him. I pray that I would be unapolagetic and zealous about sharing thhe gospel... and I pray the same for you and anyone else who reads this. Matthew 9:35-38 (ESV) "35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

      God never changed the rules, we were always meant to receive salvation through Jesus from the beginning. Look at Genesis 3, God makes the first sacrifice to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve after they sinned against Him. This is a foreshadow of Christ. God is Onniscient “All Knowing” so He knew that humans would sin because he made us, thus signifying the predetermined need for Christ. All of these things put God’s attributes on full display and allow Him to receive even greater glory through it all. We know God is loving, patient, intentional, just, and merciful all through Jesus Christ and Him on the cross. Second, God never “regrets” anything the way that humans do but from our perspective it seems like He changed His mind when in reality he was going to do things the way they unfolded in the end. But He can utilize our prayers (like Moses’ pleadings on behalf of the Israelites after they sinned against Him” to bring about that “change”. Hope it makes sense.

      @@sarahgbadebo1948 totally makes sense, thank you genuinely. I included the regretted statement cause my niv, esv, & nasb translations all say "and the Lord regretted that he made man..." Genesis 6:6 so I was trying ground my statement from what the scripture says (or at least the 3 different translations of scripture that I had ) I did just look up the verse in an online kjv version and it doesn't say regret to be fair. But maybe I'm taking the words too literally
